La Municipalidad de Berazategui se sum\u00f3 a la Campa\u00f1a Iberoamericana de detecci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n de la Ambliop\u00eda, a trav\u00e9s de jornadas de atenci\u00f3n a ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as de 4 a 14 a\u00f1os. La acci\u00f3n se desarroll\u00f3 el martes 15 de octubre -D\u00eda Mundial de esta afecci\u00f3n ocular-, en el Centro Oftalmol\u00f3gico Municipal San Camilo.<\/strong>
Al respecto, Sol Kovalivker, m\u00e9dica Oftalm\u00f3loga (MP 235999), inform\u00f3: \u201cLa ambliop\u00eda es una condici\u00f3n oftalmol\u00f3gica por la que un ojo -a nivel cerebral- predomina sobre el otro, produciendo el ojo vago, provocando una baja visi\u00f3n de uno de ellos o de ambos. Puede ser causado por problemas de visi\u00f3n, por miop\u00eda, hipermetrop\u00eda, astigmatismo, problemas en la retina, cataratas o por estrabismo (los ojos desviados). Al detectarlo a tiempo, lo podemos tratar, prevenir y evitar que este ni\u00f1o o ni\u00f1a tenga baja visi\u00f3n a futuro\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y continu\u00f3: \u201cDurante la jornada asistieron ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os de entre 4 y 14 a\u00f1os de edad. Hubo casos de detecci\u00f3n de esta patolog\u00eda y los vamos a poder tratar.
