Cada obra que se termina demuestra que, cuando hay decisi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica, la educaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica avanza. Y cuando la Argentina vuelva a tener un gobierno nacional que priorice la escuela p\u00fablica, la producci\u00f3n y el futuro de nuestras pibas y nuestros pibes, vamos a poder recuperar el ritmo de transformaci\u00f3n que nuestro pa\u00eds necesita. Este sue\u00f1o llevaba adelante un esfuerzo muy grande y una coordinaci\u00f3n entre Naci\u00f3n, Provincia y Municipio, y una de las tres partes, la nacional, se cay\u00f3. En ese momento parec\u00eda que el sue\u00f1o se derrumbaba y ah\u00ed tuvimos que tomar una decisi\u00f3n: o quedarnos de brazos ca\u00eddos y cruzados, o decidirnos a llevar adelante con mucho esfuerzo y con mucha voluntad este proyecto que hoy estamos materializando\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A su vez, la directora general de Cultura y Educaci\u00f3n de la Provincia, Flavia Terigi, precis\u00f3 que: \u201cLa escuela t\u00e9cnica est\u00e1 creciendo y hay cada vez m\u00e1s chicas estudiando en ellas. Eso es el resultado de una prioridad puesta por las familias bonaerenses, pero tambi\u00e9n, por supuesto, por el Estado. Somos muy conscientes de la importancia de la educaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnico-profesional para el desarrollo del pa\u00eds y para el desarrollo local. Esta ampliaci\u00f3n es tambi\u00e9n una ampliaci\u00f3n de derechos y no podr\u00eda haber sucedido sin el Estado invirtiendo en educaci\u00f3n. La incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevas aulas, espacios de usos m\u00faltiples y oficinas administrativas permite reorganizar de manera m\u00e1s eficiente los entornos formativos de la escuela, optimizando tanto las actividades \u00e1ulicas como las propias de los talleres y laboratorios donde se desarrollan las materias t\u00e9cnico-espec\u00edficas. Y quiero destacar el importante aporte recibido a trav\u00e9s del programa municipal Quilmes Coopera, mediante el cual nuestra instituci\u00f3n pudo adquirir m\u00e1quinas, herramientas y equipamiento de alta calidad con nuevas tecnolog\u00edas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La EEST N\u00ba 1 cuenta con una matr\u00edcula de m\u00e1s de 600 alumnos y ofrece las especialidades de T\u00e9cnico en Automotores y T\u00e9cnico en Inform\u00e1tica Personal y Profesional. La obra de ampliaci\u00f3n formaba parte de un convenio entre Naci\u00f3n, Provincia y Municipio, que fue abandonado por el Gobierno Nacional. Asimismo, en planta alta se realizaron tres aulas, un espacio de usos m\u00faltiples, una preceptor\u00eda y una cocina equipada con su correspondiente \u00e1rea de despensa, conformando un conjunto funcional que permite ampliar y diversificar las actividades escolares.
